Admissions Procedure

The Common Entrance Test (CET) will be conducted for admission to Pre IAS Training Centre, Kolhapur as well as other Centres at Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nashik and Amravati. The examination will be conducted on the lines of Civil Services Prelim examination conducted by UPSC. Educational Qualification:

The candidate should be a graduate of any recognized University. It will be mandatory for the candidates to submit a transfer certificate at the time of admission.

Age Limit

1. 21 to 32 years (open/EWS)

2. 21 to 35 years (OBC/NT/VJ)

3. 21 to 37 years (SC/ST)

Domicile

The candidate should be a resident of Maharashtra (Domicile of Maharashtra) and a certificate from the Collector is required if he/she is from the disputed border area of Maharashtra - Karnataka.

Admission Process

The admissions will be given as per merit/reservation.

• The merit list of the candidates will be declared on the websitehttp://pitckolhapur.org and the notice board of the Centre. The Candidate should contact the Centre for admission with duly-filled-in admission form and the relevant documents.
• The candidate must produce the original Transfer Certificate, Mark list of graduation, and Cast certificate. The candidate must submit the Xerox copy of documents while the original copy of the Transfer Certificate will be kept in this office till UPSC examination.
• The candidate must deposit Rs 300/- each as hostel / Library deposit which will be reimbursed after the UPSC examination.
